18 y más allá

Every family has a first

The first to graduate. The first to fill out an application no one at home knows how to fill out. The first to drive onto a college campus. And behind every first, there's someone who commits.

For $18 a month, you become a padrino or madrina to a first-generation student here in the Central Valley.

You walk with them to 18… and beyond.

This is a promise: nadie camina solo.

Ask any first-gen family what year they're counting toward and they'll tell you the same thing: 18.

Graduation. Adulthood. The year the first one in the family leaves for something new.

Most support ends right there. At the exact moment a first-gen student needs it most. So we built our promise around the number itself: we're with them at 18, and we're with them después. Through the first semester. The first FAFSA renewal. The first time they think about quitting. The first diploma on a family wall.

$18 a month. A los 18 y más allá.

Your $18 a month helps put a first-gen student in front of:

  • Someone who's done it before — one-on-one guidance from application to enrollment

  • The paperwork nobody explains — FAFSA, college applications, scholarship deadlines, transcripts, in English and Spanish

  • A campus they can picture themselves in — college visits for students who've never set foot on one

  • Their parents, in the room — bilingual family workshops, because in our community you don't recruit a student, you bring a familia along

  • A door that stays open — nuestra casa es tu casa, sin cita, no wrong door

Ya eres de la casa. When you become a padrino or madrina, you're not on a mailing list. You're family.

  • Una bienvenida de verdad — a real welcome, from a real person, not an auto-reply

  • Noticias del camino — the milestones as they happen: acceptance letters, first days, graduations

  • El Muro de Padrinos — your name on the wall at 1300 W Main Street, in the Dudley Mansion, where the work happens

  • La Celebración de Padrinos — our annual gathering, an invitation every year you're with us

  • Cafecito con Todos — you're on the list, always

  • Tu recibo deducible de impuestos — Educación for Everybody is a registered nonprofit; your gift is tax-deductible

Padrino/Madrina de Honor — $50/mes Para quien puede dar más. Cubres una parte más grande del camino de un estudiante. For those who can give more — you carry a bigger share of a student's road.

Padrino/Madrina de Familia / Family & Business Padrinos Tu negocio, tu familia, o tu grupo se juntan para apadrinar a un estudiante. Reconocimiento incluido. Your business, family, or group comes together to sponsor a student. Recognition included.

Un Regalo Único / One-Time Gift No estás listo para cada mes? Un regalo único también abre puertas. Not ready for monthly? A one-time gift opens doors too.
